Additional information
The Guji region is a relatively new coffee-growing area in Ethiopia, known for its young coffee plants that produce exceptional coffee. As a newer region for coffee cultivation, Guji has adopted farming methods and expertise from the renowned Yirgacheffe area. Coffee farming in Guji is primarily conducted on smallholder plantations, with the harvest being collected by merchants at the end of each season. The farming in Guji is carried out by the local Oromo tribes, who are integral to the region’s coffee production.
