Ceremonial grade (Koicha), Tsuyuhikari cultivar. Tencha leaves harvested in May. With nutty, chocolate note and rich
umami.
Tsuchiyama’s matcha is 100% made from tea leaves harvested in Tsuchiyama-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture.

The tea leaves, grown under shade cultivation in a tea plantation with thorough fertilization and management, become the raw material for matcha called “tencha”.
