This tea is harvested from the early stage of the spring first-flush season through around the 88th day (Hachijūhachiya) of the year.
Traditionally, tea picked on this day is believed to bring good health, protection from illness, and longevity.
It contains a high level of caffeine, catechins, and tannins, yet offers a well-balanced flavor with natural sweetness and gentle astringency.
Like “Early harvested,” this tea is carefully finished and processed with great attention to detail.
